Afraid of plagiarism? Why not learn more about personal blog copyright protection
Copyright Statement
Add a copyright statement at the end of each blog post to clearly inform readers about the copyright ownership of the article. For example, you can use the following format:
© [Year] [Your Name]. All rights reserved.
Digital Watermark
Add a digital watermark to images or other multimedia content in the blog. This can not only identify the ownership of the content but also effectively prevent others from plagiarizing my work.
Using Creative Commons License
Choose a suitable Creative Commons license to set clear usage rules for my blog content. This way, when readers repost or use my content, they will clearly know which behaviors are allowed.
Regular Searches and Monitoring
Use search engines or specialized monitoring tools to regularly search my blog content to see if there is any unauthorized use. If infringement is found, take action promptly.
Copyright Registration
For particularly important or valuable content, consider copyright registration. Although it is not mandatory, copyright registration can serve as strong legal evidence in case of copyright disputes.
Sending Cease and Desist Notice to Infringers
If someone is found infringing my copyright, I can first send them a formal cease and desist notice, asking them to stop the infringement and remove the relevant content. If the other party refuses to cooperate, consider taking further legal action.
